The Omagh Gold Project is Galantas Gold’s flagship asset and one of the most significant gold projects in Ireland. Located approximately 50 kilometers west of Belfast in Northern Ireland, the Omagh Project is situated in the prolific gold producing region of the Dalradian Gold Belt, which is known for its high−grade gold deposits. The project is a past−producing gold mine that operated in the early 2000s but was put on care and maintenance due to market conditions. Galan- tas Gold acquired the project in 2007 and has since undertaken extensive exploration and development activities to bring it back into production. The company aims to redevelop the Omagh mine and bring it into sustainable gold production with modern mining technologies and responsible environ- mental practices.
