The Hawsons Iron Project is known for its high iron content, with an estimated 67.1% iron content in the concentrate, making it one of the highest−grade iron ore projects in the world. This high−quality ore is desirable due to its low levels of impurities such as silica and alumina, making it more efficient for steel production.The project has a significant resource base, with an indicated and inferred mineral resource of over 2.2 billion tonnes of high− grade iron ore. This provides a solid foundation for long−term production and development, with significant potential for expanding the resource further. Hawsons Iron Ltd has made substantial progress toward bringing the project into production. A Pre Feasibility Study (PFS) completed in 2021 confirmed the robust economics of the project, highlighting the potential for low−cost production and a long mine life. The company is now advancing to- ward a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS), which will further refine the project’s development plans.
