Mt Carbine was historically a major source of tungsten, but the mine was put on care and maintenance due to fluctuating market conditions. Now, with a growing need for tungsten in a variety of modern industries, EQ Re- sources has resumed operations and is reprocessing stockpiled material, as well as planning to expand into primary ore extraction.EQ Resources has been actively reprocessing stockpiled low−grade ore, which contains substantial amounts of tungsten, using modern technologies.
